Patricia has lived in Ringshall ward since
childhood and began her education at Combs village school. For 14 years
she was the manager of Stowmarket Citizens Advice Bureau until her
retirement. This experience has proved a powerful tool towards resolving
the needs and concerns of local residents.
Patricia’s regular attendance
at all Parish Council meetings over the last four years has kept her
aware of a wide range of issues including support for amenities such as
the Plenty’s 20 scheme in Ringshall, the Combs Ford project, the bus
shelter and footpath in Great Bricett and continuing efforts to keep the
Battisford Punch Bowl open.
As chair of MSDC Scrutiny Committee, Patricia has made sure that all
policy decisions made by the Council are thoroughly appraised.
